Rites are Justin & Juan, a Chicago-based duo with MICA (Baltimore) connections that I have not quite cleared up yet. They make catchy electro-pop that is surprisingly mature for a band a mere six months old. In a casual email exchange, Justin explained that he and Juan met while searching for partners for other projects on Craigslist and that they are hoping to tour throughout the spring and summer. Not much else by way of background for these guys yet, but then again, good music is always better than a good bio page.
